AI agents and a REST API for your WhatsApp numbers
ChatSuite connects your WhatsApp numbers to one account, where AI agents answer customers in a shared inbox and your own software can send and receive messages over the API.
Link the number your customers already write to and create an agent that answers from your knowledge base, which ChatSuite builds from your past WhatsApp conversations. When a customer asks for a person, or the agent cannot help, it hands the chat to your team and stays out of it while a colleague takes over.
The trial asks for a card at the end of signup, and the first charge comes on day 15 unless you cancel.
Send a message with one POST request from any backend, and receive incoming messages and delivery receipts on your own URL as signed webhooks. The same token works with the TypeScript SDK on npm.
Tokens are created in the dashboard once your account is set up. The trial asks for a card at the end of signup, and the first charge comes on day 15 unless you cancel.

AI agent replying
Hi, do you deliver to Lausanne on Saturdays?
Yes, Saturday delivery covers Lausanne for orders placed before Thursday at 6 pm.
My last order arrived damaged, can someone look at it?
Sorry about that. I have passed this to the team and someone will reply here shortly.

AI agents
An agent is assigned to one or more of your numbers and replies on its own. You decide which chats it may answer and how many replies it may send, and any tool it calls in your other systems can be set to wait until a person approves it.
Agents are instructed to hand the chat to a person when the customer asks for one, when they pick up a complaint, or when they cannot make progress on a question, and they stay silent while a colleague has the chat.
- Shared inbox
- Every chat from every connected number lands in one inbox, which your colleagues can search and filter once you invite them to the organization.
- Knowledge base
- ChatSuite reads up to 24 months of your WhatsApp history and turns the answers you give most often into knowledge items and FAQs, which you can read and edit at any time.
- Analytics
- The analytics page shows sent, delivered, read and failed messages, your delivery rate, average response time and how long each number stayed connected, over 7, 30 or 90 days, and exports to CSV or JSON.
For developers
One POST request sends a message
Authenticate with a bearer token from the dashboard and send from any of your connected numbers. The to field takes a plain phone number or a WhatsApp JID, and tel is the number you send from.
Webhooks deliver events such as message.received, message.delivered and session.disconnected to your URL, signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-Webhook-Signature header using the secret you get when you register the webhook.
A few of the endpoints
POST /api/v1/messages/textSends a text from one of your numbers.GET /api/v1/sessions/:id/stateReturns the live connection state and health score of a number.GET /api/v1/sessions/:id/qrReturns the QR code that links a number.POST /api/v1/webhooksRegisters a URL for message and session events.
curl -X POST https://api.chatsuite.akson.ch/api/v1/messages/text \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $CHATSUITE_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"tel": "+41790000000",
"to": "41791234567",
"text": "Your order has shipped."
}'import { WhatsAppClient } from '@akson/chatsuite-sdk';
const client = new WhatsAppClient({
apiToken: process.env.CHATSUITE_TOKEN,
});
await client.messages.sendText(
'+41790000000',
'41791234567',
'Your order has shipped.',
);How it works
From QR code to the first reply
- Step 1
Link a number
Scan a QR code from the WhatsApp app on your phone, or connect an account on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.
- Step 2
Add an agent or a token
Create an AI agent and let it learn from your knowledge base, or generate an API token if your own software will do the sending.
- Step 3
Go live
Switch on auto-reply for the chats you choose, or make your first call to the send endpoint.

FAQ
Questions before you start
How does ChatSuite connect to WhatsApp?
You either scan a QR code with the WhatsApp app on the phone that holds the number, or connect an account you already have on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform with its phone number ID and access token.
What happens during the trial?
You get 14 days on the plan you pick on the pricing page, or on Starter if you sign up from this page. We ask for a card when you start it, and Stripe makes the first charge on day 15 unless you cancel before then.
Are Meta's message fees included?
No. When a number is connected through the Cloud API, Meta bills its message fees to your own WhatsApp Business account. A number linked with a QR code has no Meta fees.
Do I need to write code?
No, agents, the inbox and the knowledge base are all set up in the dashboard. The API is there for when your own software should send or receive messages.
Where is the API documented?
The API serves its own reference with every endpoint and parameter, and the TypeScript SDK is on npm as @akson/chatsuite-sdk.
Try it on your own number
